Their insight shapes everything from daily operations to long-term plans and plays a key role in how we scale. We're looking for a result-oriented Finance Manager to join our growing team in Japan. You'll be pulling together accounts that cover a range of financial functions, with a focus on accounting, financial modelling, and cash management. Up to shape what's next in finance? What you'll need - A university degree in finance, economics, or other relevant field - 1+ years of experience in finance and controlling functions, with experience in a corporate or accounting firm - Solid accounting knowledge, including of J-GAAP or IFRS/FRS - Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills - The ability to comprehend and narrate financial records - Good punctuality and time management skills - Great analytical skills and a hands-on attitude - Excellent Microsoft Office skills - Fluency in English and Japanese
Nice to have - A professional accounting qualification or equivalent experience - Experience in banking or IT-related finance/accounting - Experience in month-end closing, functional reporting, and preparation of statutory accounts - Knowledge of accounting systems (NetSuite)
