Department Overview The mission of the Strategic Business Compliance Support Department is to establish and strengthen Group-wide governance, risk management, and compliance frameworks that support the sustainable growth of Rakuten Mobile Group companies. The Department promotes sound business operations based on applicable laws and internal regulations, and leads the enhancement of compliance standards across the Group by implementing effective measures to address an increasingly complex risk environment. In this role, you will be responsible for the following functions across Rakuten Mobile Group companies. Governance & Risk Management You will be responsible for building governance frameworks for Group companies, identifying and assessing risks, developing response policies, and monitoring management status. Compliance Promotion You will be responsible for researching and reviewing applicable laws, guidelines, and internal regulations; organizing compliance issues; coordinating with relevant departments; and tracking the status of required actions. In addition to the above, you will be responsible for planning, executing, and managing training and educational content for team members.
Practical experience in compliance, legal, risk management, internal controls, or administrative functions Experience coordinating with multiple stakeholders to organize issues and manage progress Ability to read and summarize key points from laws, guidelines, and internal regulations Communication skills to proactively seek clarification and consult with relevant parties when needed Ability to conduct business operations smoothly in Japanese
Basic knowledge of laws and regulations (e.g., Candidates with a degree in Law) Knowledge of the telecommunications business Experience working in English
