This position is responsible for generating data-driven insights through both Business Analytics and Market Intelligence to support business strategy decisions at DePuy Synthes. By analyzing the market, competitors, and company performance, and providing insights using advanced analytical methods (Advanced Analytics / AI), the role contributes to business growth and improved strategic decision-making. In Business Analytics, responsibilities include generating business insights through data analysis (Advanced Analytics); planning and advancing AI initiatives, including evaluating use cases and supporting proofs of concept; project-managing analytical engagements and data utilization projects; analyzing KPIs and evaluating business performance; and supporting decision-making through data visualization and storytelling. In Market Intelligence, responsibilities include preparing and analyzing market data and market share reports; analyzing performance by business unit (BU) and producing regular reports; conducting competitor analysis and evaluating the competitive environment; carrying out an Annual Environment Scan; organizing and visualizing market trends using internal and external data, such as NDB and CRM data; and providing market insights and proposing related actions to each BU. The work location is the Tokyo headquarters. Johnson & Johnson has announced plans to separate its Orthopedics business and establish it as an independent company, DePuy Synthes. The separation is expected to be completed within 18–24 months, subject to the satisfaction of the necessary conditions. As a result, upon completion of the separation, the person in this position will be employed by DePuy Synthes and will be subject to DePuy Synthes’ employment framework, programs, policies, and benefits.
