Our division is responsible for creating customer touchpoints through offline channels and driving business growth, with a primary focus on the operation of Rakuten Mobile shops. Our shops are more than just points of contract; they serve as the 'front line of customer engagement,' playing a vital role in supporting the brand experience by offering a cross-section of Rakuten Group services, including telecommunications, fintech, and e-commerce. Shop Operation Section serves as the 'strategic hub' for retail operations. We oversee everything from the development of our physical store network and backend call center functions to the product development of systems and devices that streamline in-store operations. Within the Shop Construction and Maintenance Group, we lead the optimization of design and construction for store rollouts and manage the entire lifecycle of our store infrastructure. Beyond mere maintenance, our mission is to establish a highly reproducible store-opening scheme by accumulating and standardizing knowledge from rollout projects. Our ultimate goal is to provide an optimal environment for both our customers and 'R CREW' (employees) by creating attractive stores through strategic design, maintenance, and the effective use of equipment and fixtures.
