As an Accountant, you will play a key role in ensuring financial accuracy, compliance, and timely reporting that supports effective decision-making and operational performance. Working closely with hotel leadership and cross-functional teams, you will uphold IHG financial standards while continuously improving processes and controls. As Accountant, you will supervise daily accounting operations, controls, and staff; verify daily bank balances and prepare bank and credit card reconciliations for Director of Finance approval; verify the General Cashier report and daily bank deposits; reconcile general ledger balances at month-end and report gaps or variances; review monthly reports such as F&B and Cost Controller reports; ensure timely tax payments and filings and resolve variances; prepare monthly reports for Management; assist the Director of Finance with CAPEX, accounting policy, budgeting, financial analysis, and ad hoc duties; maintain and organize accounting records, including contracts; and keep updated with new regulations and IHG policies.
