We are seeking an Account Executive to cover major manufacturing companies as part of the manufacturing team within Salesforce’s major subsidiaries team. You will work with strategic customers whose businesses are worth trillions of yen, building long-term partnerships that go beyond simply selling products and jointly driving business transformation. As the AE responsible for strategic manufacturing accounts, you will develop and execute medium- to long-term customer growth strategies based on Annual Planning (APS). You will lead proposals and sales discussions with multiple stakeholders, including executives, IT departments, and business units, and create value propositions and proposals using the Salesforce platform after gaining a deep understanding of customer challenges. You will engage internal resources, including SEs, CSMs, and partners, to win and expand business as a team.
- Experience in enterprise B2B sales (experience selling to the manufacturing industry is especially welcome) - Ability to take ownership of large accounts and independently drive them from strategy development through execution
- Sales experience with IT solutions, SaaS, ERP, or similar offerings - Enterprise sales experience in industries other than manufacturing, such as retail, finance, or services - Basic IT knowledge sufficient to hold technical discussions with stakeholders - Strong account ownership and a sense of responsibility for results - A strong emphasis on teamwork and the ability to drive initiatives by engaging relevant stakeholders
