Goldman Sachs’ Private Credit team sits on the private side of the Asset Management Division. Private Credit is one of the world's largest alternative credit investing platforms with investment professionals based in the US, Europe, Asia and Australia. Private Credit originates investments and invests third-party capital across senior secured loans, mezzanine/unsecured debt, preferred equity and opportunistic credit supporting buyouts led by Private Equity sponsors. The Private Credit team is a top tier platform in the direct lending market and is consistently involved in the largest direct lending transactions. Analysts in Private Credit work as part of small deal teams responsible for identifying, diligence, structuring, executing and monitoring corporate debt investments. Analysts and Associates are involved in a wide range of high profile transactions across the capital structure and in a variety of industries in support of transactions that include leveraged buy-outs, take privates, add-on acquisitions and recapitalizations. The work is deal-focused and exciting, and will bring you in contact with a wide range of businesses, industries, Private Equity clients, investment structures and products.
- Investment Banking and Private Credit/Direct Lending candidate with minimum of 2 years experience - Native level Japanese communication, High-level proficiency in English, both written and verbal - Strong quantitative, financial modelling, analytical and problem-solving skills - Passion for investing with specific interest in credit / other structured products - Excellent verbal and written communication skills - Flexible and creative mindset; ability to analyze a variety of industries and businesses - Ability to self-direct, analyze and evaluate and form independent judgments - Ability to interact and build relationships with a wide variety of people
