We are seeking an Engineering Consultant to work on offshore wind power projects that support growth in the renewable energy sector. In this role, you will contribute to the design and advisory services for offshore wind facilities, applying your expertise in areas including structural and geotechnical engineering to advance projects. Reporting to the Japan Group Energy Team Leader, you will join the Energy Team, which consists of approximately 10 members, and participate in projects in a multinational environment while collaborating with engineers and specialists in Japan and overseas. This position also offers the opportunity to address technical challenges in the offshore wind sector and further develop your expertise in renewable energy. The primary responsibilities are design and advisory services for offshore wind facilities.
- At least five years of knowledge and practical experience in structural design; experience designing offshore structures is particularly desirable. For candidates with a PhD in structural or civil engineering, time spent in the doctoral program will count toward the required practical experience. - At least five years of knowledge and practical experience in geotechnical engineering. For candidates with a PhD in geotechnical engineering, time spent in the doctoral program will count toward the required practical experience. - Professional experience working in English on projects with remote, multinational team members. - A bachelor’s degree or higher in a relevant field.
