We also manage Investor Relations, communicating the company's strategy and financial performance accurately and promptly to investors and analysts. We strive to achieve fair market valuation and build trust, contributing directly to the enhancement of corporate value. Furthermore, we fulfill the responsibilities of a publicly listed company by ensuring timely and appropriate information disclosure based on the Financial Instruments and Exchange Act and other relevant regulations, demonstrating our commitment to accountability to our shareholders and investors. Our team also provides strategic financial support, developing optimal capital structures based on management strategy and providing crucial financial insights for strategic decision-making, including M&A activities. Finally, we ensure compliance with all tax laws and proactively manage tax risks to support the sustainable growth of the Rakuten Group. At Rakuten Group, Inc., our Group Accounting Department plays a pivotal role in the consolidated financial reporting process, collaborating closely with the business accounting teams of each of our diverse companies. Beyond the essential function of financial consolidation, our department is entrusted with a critical mission: to gather and analyze the vital information necessary for informed management decision-making, providing crucial support to Group management through the CFO. Consolidated Financial Results for the Rakuten Group (IFRS). Preparation of securities reports and other disclosure materials. Promotion of projects in connection with M&A and organizational restructuring. Improve and rebuild the Rakuten Group's accounting processes and systems. There are four sections, each responsible for a specific group company. EC Accounting Section, International Accounting Section, Communications & Energy Accounting Section, FinTech Accounting Section. Our team includes experienced professionals from diverse backgrounds, including consulting firms, operating companies, audit firms, other Rakuten Group companies, and recent university graduates.
- Knowledge of accounting with bookkeeping level 2 or higher. - At least 3 years of experience in a business company or professional firm. - Good communication skills and the ability to work as an organization. - Be able to respond flexibly to changes.
