The Occupancy Planning Manager will lead the collection and analysis of business, occupancy, and space data, prepare occupancy recommendations and presentations, support client move requests, and deliver regular reports. The essential duties and responsibilities include developing 3-5 years City / Country level supply & demand, managing city level re-stacks in multiple buildings, tracking and managing space and occupancy data within relevant technologies, developing space solutions by analyzing occupancy, utilization, and space data, handling tactical occupancy planning such as space planning and block and stack plans, and preparing options and recommendations. The role also involves collaborating with the occupancy planning team on strategic solutions for campus/building forecasts and concerns, working with facilities management teams on projects related to moves, space audits, occupancy, vacancy, and change management, facilitating the transfer of approved occupancy plans to the MAC (Move, Add, Change) team for implementation, ensuring accurate reporting using IWMS tools, and maintaining key relationships for seating assignments. Additionally, the manager will identify proactive needs, troubleshoot deficiencies, implement best practices, manage PA space/occupancy data, serve as the main content point of contact for all country PAs/Groups/Teams, develop site Stacking Plan options, track reorganizations and demand changes, manage RRU and team updates, update monthly portfolio reviews and commentary, conduct quarterly SFT forecast reviews to assess demand-supply risk and plan proactively, develop strategy deck components for site strategy and forecasted demand, collaborate with MAC/Ops for seamless plan/project delivery, review new project requests and business feedback, create and maintain planning project records, respond to GUTS tickets, conduct regular data quality governance, and be accountable for MMR and all Adhoc reporting. Additional duties include partnering with project and construction teams on large relocations/restacks, providing guidance and advocating best operational practices for the region, serving as an escalation point for country site services managers and facilities managers, and reviewing Regional Reporting processes and metrics. Key performance measures include timeliness and creativity used to resolve issues, proactive initiatives to streamline business processes, a high level of accuracy in all work output, demonstrating flexibility to support client service delivery and new tasks as needed, and a sound understanding of the Scope of Work to avoid or minimize scope creep.
- Bachelor's Degree in Architecture, Interior Design, Real Estate, or related field - Min. 8 years work experience in project, facilities and occupancy management - Prior experience in space/occupancy planning at a strategic level and experience with office interior renovations is desirable - Knowledge on AutoCAD and CAFM systems is desirable - Strong PowerPoint and Advanced Excel skills (pivot tables, formulas, etc.)
