ByteDanceBytePlus is the enterprise technology arm of ByteDance, providing Generative AI, multimodal models, AI agent solutions, and cloud infrastructure capabilities to businesses worldwide. In Japan, we work with leading enterprises across multiple industries to drive AI adoption from proof-of-concept (PoC) to scalable commercial deployment. Our goal is not only to demonstrate cutting-edge technology, but to help organizations create sustainable and measurable business value. Responsibilities include partnering closely with the Japan regional Sales team to identify customer business challenges and technical requirements, leading technical demos, architecture discussions, RFI/RFP responses, and PoC design and delivery, and building technical credibility within customer organizations. You will also participate in or lead the design and implementation of Generative AI applications, evaluate system performance in real production environments, and act as the technical lead in customer engagements.
- Bachelor’s degree or above in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field. - At least 5 years of experience in AI solutions, technical consulting, or related technical roles, including at least 2 years of people management experience. - Experience working on enterprise-level customer projects. - Strong software engineering capability, able to build and integrate production-grade applications. - Familiarity with Generative AI technologies, including LLMs, RAG architectures, agent systems, or multimodal models. - Experience deploying applications in cloud environments (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes, or major public cloud platforms).
- Solid understanding of Transformer architecture fundamentals and prompt engineering principles. - Experience building knowledge base systems and working with vector databases. - Familiarity with common agent or AI application frameworks (e.g., LangChain, LlamaIndex). - Understanding of inference optimization, latency control, and cost management strategies. - Experience designing scalable, production-ready end-to-end AI system architectures. - Hands-on experience applying Generative AI or multimodal models in real production environments. - Ability to translate technical capabilities into measurable business value (e.g., efficiency improvement, cost reduction, revenue growth) and proven experience converting PoC projects into full commercial deployments. - Experience building scalable solutions from 0 to 1 and driving replication across multiple accounts. - Ability to bridge technical discussions and commercial conversations with enterprise stakeholders. - Proficiency in Python (preferred for software engineering capability).
