ispace is looking for a Senior Mission Analysis & Flight Dynamics engineer to join our growing team. As a Senior Mission Analysis & Flight Dynamics engineer, you will support lunar missions by designing and optimizing spacecraft trajectories, analyzing mission performance, and developing flight dynamics tools. You will work closely with mission operations teams to ensure safe and efficient execution of lunar missions.
- 5+ years of experience in Mission Analysis in cis-lunar or deep space missions. - Professional experience with Orbital Mechanics libraries and tools: GMAT, STK, MONTE, Orekit, Godot or similar. - Professional software development experience: continuous maintenance, sprint-based delivery, testing activities, version control, dockerized environments. - Familiarity with at least one of the following concepts: - Circular Restricted 3-Body Problem (CR3BP) - Covariance analysis - Lambert Transfer - B-plane targeting
- Flight Dynamics development and/or operations. - Knowledge about cislunar environment: ELFO, NRLO, Halo, etc. - Experience interfacing with launch providers (e.g. Space-X, ULA, Ariane, MHI, Rocket Lab). - Experience using MONTE library.
