The Manager, Japan plays a key role in supporting business operations, strategy execution, and organizational effectiveness within the Japan market. This role partners with regional and global stakeholders to drive operational rigor, ensure alignment with enterprise priorities, and support growth initiatives. The position offers the opportunity to make a meaningful impact in a critical market while contributing to DePuy Synthes’ commitment to patients, customers, and employees.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, Operations, or a related field (required) - Typically 6-8 years of progressive experience in business management, operations, strategy, or related roles - Experience supporting business operations or market‑level initiatives in a matrixed organization - Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills with the ability to translate data into insights - Ability to partner effectively with cross‑functional and senior stakeholders - Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple priorities - Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Master’s degree or MBA (preferred) - Experience working in Japan market operations or regional roles - Exposure to healthcare, medical device, or regulated industries - Experience supporting change management or transformation initiatives - Familiarity with performance management and reporting tools - Experience working with regional or global teams
- Languages: Japanese and English proficiency required - Travel: Up to 10–20% domestic and regional travel - Certifications: Business management, project management, or related certifications (preferred)
