The Sales Strategy & Programs team provides internal consulting for management, sales, and sales support organizations, and this position plays a key role within that team. The person in this position will be responsible for analyzing key metrics related to company performance and market opportunities, setting strategic themes for the sales and sales support organizations, and making recommendations and presentations to senior leaders. They will be involved in projects related to organizational design, business planning, market segmentation and coverage optimization, and sales performance evaluation, particularly in projects related to industry and product strategy. Deliverables will include sophisticated analytical models, performance analysis, various dashboards, and presentation materials for internal executives. The role requires a willingness and skill to conduct scalable and repeatable analyses, innovative analyses, and data-driven insights and recommendations, as well as strong communication skills. Regular discussions will be held with senior executive levels.
- 3+ years of experience in strategy formulation and planning in the corporate sales department of a large enterprise company or IT tech company - Strong analytical modeling and spreadsheet skills, experience in database analysis - Ability to provide actionable analysis and recommendations that lead to specific actions, and design feasible and realistic measures - Proactive, with a willingness to aim for results beyond the required tasks - Experience in project management - Ability to work collaboratively with a sense of urgency typical of a venture company towards goals - Fluent in Japanese and English (equivalent to TOEIC 800 or higher) for communication
