Our department focuses on operating Rakuten Mobile shops, serving as a core driver for business growth by creating customer touchpoints through physical channels. These shops are not merely locations for signing contracts; they act as the 'front line of customer engagement' where we offer cross-service solutions-including telecommunications, fintech, and e-commerce-across the Rakuten Group, playing a vital role in supporting our brand experience. The Shop Operation Section serves as a 'strategic hub' for our physical store network. Specifically, the Shop Development Group is responsible for planning and executing the store opening strategies that form the foundation of our business growth, as well as managing lease agreements for existing locations. Beyond simple property selection, we drive the sustainable expansion of our store network by negotiating terms to maximize ROI, standardizing the entire store-opening process, and leveraging technology to build robust property management systems.
