As the section manager for the ADAS Parking Assistance Systems and Software team, you will lead a team focused on software solutions for Japanese customers. Your responsibilities will include leading the development and debugging of parking assistance software features such as Park Pilot, Start-Stop Prevention System, Emergency Braking System, and Automated Parking Assistance System. You will participate in technical discussions with internal and external stakeholders as well as customers. - Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field - Over 10 years of experience in automotive software development - Understanding of ADAS technologies including sensor fusion, perception, planning, and control - Experience with software development lifecycle and testing methodologies - Knowledge of automotive safety standards and regulations (e.g., ASIL, SOTIF, ISO, UN-Reg) and software development processes (e.g., ASPICE) - Excellent communication skills in both English (business level) and Japanese (JLPT N1 or native) - Over 2 years of management experience including team coordination
- Experience with parking assistance systems or ADAS features - Knowledge of in-vehicle communication protocols - Experience with ultrasonic sensors or camera-based systems - Understanding of vehicle dynamics and control systems - Experience in a technical role involving customer interaction - Project management experience including leading technical projects in automotive software development, stakeholder management with customers, project planning, scheduling, and risk management and mitigation
