CitiGroup Securities is seeking young members for the Operations Department. The Transaction Management Team is responsible for a wide range of tasks in the lending lifecycle, including loan closing, coordination of credit management, facilitating complex customer onboarding, data management, and quality control. This team oversees the operations from closing to credit management for all loan transactions in the supported business division, ensuring that all internal and external requirements are met. In this role, you’re expected to contribute to the build and development team to support loan origination and lifecycle management, which includes large complex syndicated and bilateral loans covering but not limited to corporate, commercial, real estate, structured lending, and trade. You will conduct thorough reviews of credit documentation packages to ensure accuracy, completeness, and compliance with internal policies and regulatory requirements. You will review and assess credit protection elements, including collateral arrangements, covenants, and other credit enhancement mechanisms, and verify the consistency and alignment between executed or draft legal agreements and internal credit approvals. You will accurately register and maintain documentation and credit approval data across internal systems, perform systematic validation checks to ensure data integrity and completeness, and ensure that the quality of data, controls, and processes performed meet internal policies and regulatory requirements. You will provide clear and timely operational instructions to the credit risk management servicing team and the loan servicing team based on approved credit terms and documentation, acting as a key coordination point between documentation review findings and downstream operational execution. You will assist with the creation of processes, standards, procedures, controls, training, and implementation of transaction management, partner with each of the originating and coverage business lines, credit risk, operations, legal, etc. You will work with lines of business, transactors, credit management, and operations to define and implement operational metrics and risk and control reviews to ensure all stakeholders have end-to-end transparency.
