Rakuten Mobile is currently focusing heavily on its corporate business. Within this, the Partner Sales Department is responsible for creating and expanding business through partners (MVNOs or sales agencies). We are leading the transformation of the telecommunications industry, based on the unparalleled and innovative technology infrastructure realized by Rakuten Mobile. The Business Incubation Section, which is recruiting for this position, is a team newly established in fiscal year 2026. In addition to the existing MVNO business area, our mission is to develop and plan businesses and services in areas such as IoT, global roaming, and other new ventures, and to nurture them through to the future sales phase. We are looking for a colleague to take charge of business development and sales, particularly in the IoT field.
・At least 3 years of professional experience ・High level of communication and presentation skills (ability to coordinate with diverse internal and external stakeholders) ・Experience using Microsoft PowerPoint/Excel/Word ・Ability to communicate in business-level Japanese ・TOEIC score of 600 or higher
・Experience in business development, service planning, or corporate sales in the telecommunications industry (especially mobile, MVNO) ・Interest in and basic knowledge of IoT-related business ・Experience in the entire process from planning to execution of new businesses or services ・Experience in building alliances or negotiating with business partners ・Ability to communicate smoothly with diverse internal and external stakeholders to promote projects ・Logical thinking and problem-solving skills ・Proactive and agile approach ・Ability to take ownership of assigned tasks
