This role focuses primarily on the digital workplace and transforms the IT environments in which people work. In addition to modernizing traditional endpoint, identity, and collaboration environments, you will help enable new ways of working through the use of generative AI and improvements to the digital employee experience (DEX). You will work end to end, from developing the vision through design, implementation, and adoption. You will establish delivery practices based on AI-driven development and take responsibility not only for introducing technology, but also for shaping a vision around how work will change and bringing it to life. Specific responsibilities include developing visions for digital workplace transformation; creating roadmaps; evaluating return on investment; defining requirements, designing architectures, and driving implementation of endpoint management, identity, and collaboration platforms; using DEX solutions to visualize employees’ IT experiences and improve operations; planning and supporting the execution of business transformation through generative AI; and promoting the standardization of development (AI-driven development) and delivery methods designed around the use of AI. You can be involved end to end, from developing a vision through adoption, and see your own vision become operational and deliver results. You can select the most suitable technologies from multiple solutions, including Microsoft and Google, and participate in transformation projects on a scale of tens of thousands of users and across global organizations. You will also help establish a new delivery model based on AI-driven development. Project examples include integrating an enterprise-wide digital workplace platform for a major energy company; implementing DEX and advancing operations for a major chemical manufacturer; modernizing an endpoint management platform covering tens of thousands of devices for a major materials manufacturer; modernizing a collaboration platform and redesigning its operating model for a major insurance company; and planning and supporting the adoption of a business transformation program using generative AI.
- At least four years of experience designing and implementing digital workplace environments, such as endpoints, identity, and collaboration platforms; experience in IT planning or operations within a corporate information systems department; or work experience at a consulting firm or systems integrator - Work experience in AI-driven development or an interest in AI-driven development - Business-level Japanese - Communication skills to move work forward through discussions with clients and stakeholders - Ability to identify the underlying nature of issues and derive solutions logically - Ability to collaborate with diverse stakeholders and drive consensus-building - Ability to learn and apply new technologies - Willingness to take initiative and tackle highly uncertain topics - Appreciation for achieving results as a team
