We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Technical Acquisition Manager to join our organization in Yokohama, Japan. In this role, you will be responsible for the procurement and purchasing management of advanced sensors for our ADAS (Advanced Driver Assistance Systems) product line. You will strategically drive the identification, evaluation, and partnership with suppliers while ensuring technical excellence, compliance with quality standards, and cost efficiency throughout the sensor supply chain. You will negotiate contracts, pricing, and terms while maintaining strong business relationships with suppliers. Collaborating with engineering and product development teams, you will analyze the technical specifications and requirements for ADAS sensors. You will manage supplier performance through regular audits, quality assessments, and tracking of key performance indicators (KPIs). You will ensure compliance with automotive industry standards, regulations, and quality requirements (ISO, AEC-Q standards). To support production schedules, you will monitor supply chain logistics, delivery timelines, and inventory levels. You will conduct market analysis and competitive research on emerging sensor technologies and industry trends. You will create and manage comprehensive documentation, contracts, and supplier records. You will coordinate cross-departmental collaboration between procurement, engineering, quality assurance, and operations teams. You will identify and mitigate supply chain risks and develop contingency plans for critical components.
