Responsibilities include translating from both English and Japanese to produce top-quality localizations, proofreading and editing Simplified Chinese translations to ensure localization quality, providing feedback to Localization Directors on culturally sensitive issues, managing Chinese language assets, assisting with Chinese voice recording preparation and recording sessions (Mainland Mandarin), and testing Chinese assets in-game and fixing issues.
- Be a native speaker of Chinese - Knowledge of Simplified Chinese is a must - Have a broad knowledge of Chinese game industry in general, as well as Chinese gaming culture in mainland China - Business-level of Japanese proficiency is a must (N1 level) - Be able to communicate in an English-speaking environment is a must
- Good verbal and written communication skills in English is preferred - Experience in game localization and script translation is preferred - Be competent in self-management - Be able to follow deadlines - Be able to work simultaneously on multiple projects when necessary
