J&J MedTech Heart Recovery (Japan Abiomed Corporation) is seeking a Senior Surgical Sales Specialist for the Western Japan territory. Surgical Sales at J&J MedTech Heart Recovery (Japan Abiomed Corporation) works with Clinical Sales and Marketing to carry out strategic sales activities, including a range of day-to-day sales activities, professional education, and promotional activities related to the surgical applications of Impella. To achieve business goals, the Senior Surgical Sales Specialist independently plans and executes sales activities to establish Impella as the standard of care (SoC) in cardiac surgery. The specialist also develops strategies to increase case volumes and improve survival rates at key facilities in the assigned territory, and implements them in agreement with the Surgical Sales Manager. The specialist provides information based on clinical evidence from Japan and abroad, and proposes new treatment strategies and care pathways drawing on case experience and expertise. The ideal candidate for this role has business experience in cardiac surgery and cardiology, particularly sales experience and clinical knowledge in cardiac surgery. As Impella technology and its applications continue to expand rapidly, candidates are strongly expected to pursue ongoing independent learning, build knowledge of both the product and related treatments and procedures, and identify potential clinical needs and growth opportunities. In consultation with the Clinical Sales representative, Associate Surgical Sales Manager, and Surgical Sales Manager responsible for each facility, the specialist develops and implements specific sales strategies and strategic sales plans to achieve Surgical Sales targets.
