- Minimum 5 years of experience in procurement processes. - Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field or equivalent professional experience. - Demonstrated experience in category management and strategic sourcing. - Strong negotiation and analytical skills with the ability to drive cost-management outcomes. - Effective communication skills for engaging and influencing diverse collaborators. - Advanced understanding of material cost structure and cost analysis methodologies.
- Experience handling large strategic suppliers or global supply portfolios. - Proven ability to lead cross-functional negotiations and bundled sourcing events. - Familiarity with should-cost modeling and market-intelligence frameworks. - Success driving savings, revenue impact, or scorecard metric improvements. - Ability to build and complete supplier contract strategies, including performance monitoring. - Strong relationship-building skills and a customer-centric approach to issue resolution. - Experience collaborating with global category directors, managers, and supplier managers. - Hands-on experience applying AI/ML tools. Deep research or model-training expertise is helpful.
