This position is a senior leader who will lead security technology strategy from a holistic perspective within the Public Sector Business Division of Microsoft Japan. You will guide customers in government agencies, local governments, and public institutions to utilize Microsoft’s cloud in a secure and differentiated manner from the perspective of technical sales strategy. This role is responsible for all Microsoft security products and services, designing and realizing the optimal end-to-end solutions for customers, taking into account the integration with the overall Microsoft cloud, including Microsoft Security. Additionally, you will provide feedback on product specification issues to headquarters engineering and lead the adaptation and improvement of products for the public sector. This is a challenging and rewarding position that goes beyond the role of a mere security expert, spanning from GTM (go-to-market), solution development, to product improvement. - More than 8 years of practical experience as a consultant/SE/technical sales/presales/architect in the field of information security and cloud, or equivalent experience. - Deep expertise in cloud security (Zero Trust, identity and access management, security related to AI, AI agents, AI local agents, threat protection, information protection, security operations, compliance). - Communication skills to negotiate with executives and CISO-level personnel. - A broad range of capabilities to handle not only deep expertise in security but also other major cloud technology areas at a high level. - Proficiency in Japanese (business level) and English (level necessary for collaboration with headquarters).
- More than 12 years of practical experience in the field of information security/cloud. - Experience in solution design considering integration with Microsoft cloud (Microsoft 365/Dynamics 365/Power Platform/Azure/GitHub). - Security-related certifications such as CISSP. - Practical experience in security vendors/security companies. - Understanding of Japan's public procurement and regulatory environment (ISMAP, Government Cloud, related guidelines). - Experience managing government agency accounts and handling audits and compliance. - High-level expertise in security vendors or cloud vendors, or equivalent experience as a senior technical specialist or above. - Experience leading the formation of technical communities and talent development.
