The Restaurant Supervisor at Sushi L’Abysse Osaka Yannick Alléno is an essential member of the Food & Beverage team dedicated to providing exceptional quality and service to our guests. The Restaurant Supervisor position provides an enjoyable, expertly served beverage or dining experience conforming to Four Seasons standards of excellence for quality, professionalism and friendliness. F&B Supervisor anticipate and service guests' needs before being asked and are knowledgeable about all available menu options, beverage lists and daily specials. Ensuring that guest’s request item has been served correctly. Supervising the floor during meal periods to ensure that all standards and sequence of service are met through all the guests’ interactions. Suggest the selection of food & beverage menu items to guests by offering appealing and precise descriptions of each item’s ingredients, taste, and preparation methods; not only take orders as guest did but proactively figure out any possibility that elevates guest dining experience by Value Added Recommendation. Communicate rapidly and accurately with the kitchen about any needs or requests regarding guests; coordinate food timings; check completed kitchen orders with the guest’s original order; serve items to the guest table in a timely manner to ensure excellent food quality. Anticipates guest needs, ascertains satisfaction, offers suggestions, and responds urgently and appropriately to guest concerns and requests. If it’s necessary, take the proper action first which is deemed wise and effectual and report to upper management afterwards; Properly and accurately close guest checks; process cash and credit card payments; properly settle voided checks or complimentary items.
- A minimum of 2 years of experience in same field. - Reading, writing and oral proficiency in Japanese & English language. - Demonstrated ability to interact with customers, employees and third parties that reflects highly on the hotel, the brand and the Company. - Working computer skills and knowledge including but not limited to Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Internet and Micros. - Good personal & professional references.
