The Coca-Cola CompanyThe Senior Director, Data Analytics leads data strategy and delivery for the Japan & South Korea Operating Unit. The role owns the data and analytics portfolio and demand governance, builds AI, machine learning, and data science capability, drives advanced analytics and modeling, and partners across the Coca-Cola system to deliver measurable business value. The role leads a team spanning data engineering, data science, data governance and operations, and data product management — delivering local data and analytics products (e.g., vending pricing models, local data pipelines) while rolling out and driving adoption of global data and analytics tools (e.g.,Fuelight, OU360, MPM). As JKOU scales AI-enabled decision-making across its growth model, this role builds the data foundation and analytical capability that turn data into decision advantage. Responsibilities include owning the OU data and analytics strategy, roadmap, and portfolio, aligned with JKOU business priorities and the global data agenda; leading demand governance and prioritization for data and analytics investments based on business value and feasibility; building and developing AI, ML, and data science capability within the OU, growing both talent and reusable analytical assets; driving advanced analytics and modeling that directly inform commercial, marketing, vending, and supply chain decisions; leading delivery of local data products (e.g., vending pricing model, local data pipeline) and adoption of global data tools (e.g.,Fuelight, OU360, MPM); owning the OU data platform architecture and engineering roadmap in partnership with global data teams; establishing data governance, quality, privacy, and responsible AI standards across the OU, embedded in platforms and processes; leading bottler relations and alignment on data sharing and operationalization, building the system data backbone; providing people leadership and capability development across the Data & Analytics team; serving as a senior advisor to OU leadership on data strategy, AI opportunities, and analytics-driven performance. Organizational Impact includes determining how effectively JKOU converts data into decision advantage across its growth agenda; owning the OU-wide data and analytics portfolio spanning local products and global platform adoption; leading a multi-disciplinary team and influencing bottler and global data ecosystems; shaping responsible, compliant, and trusted use of data and AI across the OU. Innovation & Complexity involves building AI and advanced analytics capability that changes how commercial and operational decisions are made; balancing rapid analytical experimentation with scalable, governed data foundations; navigating complex data-sharing, privacy, and ethical considerations across the system; championing AI-enabled automation and decision science across business domains. Communication & Influence includes influencing OU leadership, bottlers, and global data stakeholders on data strategy and investment; translating complex analytical concepts into clear business narratives and decisions; leading governance forums and alignment across business, digital, legal, and privacy stakeholders; building trusted partnerships across the Coca-Cola system to enable data collaboration.
- 12+ years of experience in data, analytics, or AI leadership roles within complex, matrixed organizations. - Proven track record building data platforms, analytics portfolios, and data science teams. - Deep expertise in modern data architecture, ML/AI applications, and data governance. - Experience partnering with commercial functions to deliver measurable business outcomes from analytics. - Strong stakeholder leadership across business, technology, and external partners.
- Business-level English required; Japanese proficiency strongly preferred.
