Job Description
As an AI Agent Solution Engineer, you will be responsible for the entire process of AI agent solutions targeting the business processes of the Mercari Group, from identifying challenges to design, implementation, deployment, and operation. You will work closely with business owners and engineers from various domains to determine what should be created based on a working prototype, and autonomously lead quality, measurement, release, and establishment.

- A person who can lead not only implementation but also the specification concretization and consensus formation, taking full responsibility for the production release and subsequent operational phases
- Development capability utilizing AI (balancing speed and quality)
- Someone who can proficiently use AI coding tools like Claude Code at a practical level, able to judge, modify, and integrate AI outputs without taking them at face value
- A person who can quickly launch prototypes and finalize specifications based on working models
- Someone who can autonomously make technical design decisions (architecture/API/data/security/operations, etc.) and explain trade-offs in a business context
- A person who is comfortable crossing domains (BE/FE/data/QA, etc.) and has the foundation to autonomously establish areas of experience while utilizing AI and documentation
- Someone who is willing to mentor and coach surrounding members and can maintain motivation for organizational growth
Preferred Requirements
- Experience in evaluation design for AI agents or LLM applications (establishing evaluation criteria, building benchmarks, quantitatively verifying product quality through A/B testing, etc.)
- Consulting experience aimed at improving and renewing business processes, and system development experience (business hearings, requirements definition, system/SaaS integration, etc.)
- Experience leading development in a small team for product launches in early phases
- Practical experience related to machine learning and data science
