As a Polish Localization Expert, you'll be responsible for ensuring that all assets localized from English to Polish meet Capcom’s quality standards. You will translate text from English into Polish or check translated text to produce top-quality localizations. You will create and manage Polish language assets, such as glossaries, translation memory, and style guides. You will track, evaluate, and fix linguistic bugs as required. You will provide feedback to Localization Directors on culturally sensitive issues. You will propose improvements to the workflow process for optimal translation quality. You will work with other localization members on team objectives.
- Native speaker of Polish - Have excellent verbal and written communication skills in both Polish and English - Have experience in localization (preferably in the gaming industry) - Ability to review, create and adapt processes to focus on efficiency - Be able to work with a team - Be competent in self-management - Be able to follow deadlines - Be able to work simultaneously on multiple projects when necessary - Broad knowledge of current cultural sensitivities in Polish-speaking regions - An interest and passion for video games and the game industry - Japanese language ability is a benefit but not required
