The Commercial Executive (CE) is responsible for the entire commercial flow, including contracts, pricing, terms, and compliance, for public sector customers such as government agencies and municipalities. The CE designs, negotiates, and executes optimal and sustainable commercial models. While the Account Executive (AE) handles 'Why Microsoft' and the Specialist addresses 'Why a specific solution', the CE leads 'How to maximize value from the commercial deal', guiding the way to create maximum value for both the customer and Microsoft. The CE leads negotiations involving complex and non-standard contract structures, including EA/ESA/MCA-E, while balancing risk management and long-term value creation, deeply understanding the unique procurement systems, accounting rules, and compliance requirements of the public sector. Additionally, the CE collaborates cross-functionally with AEs, Specialists, Deal Desk, Finance, Legal, and partners to drive long-term commercial strategies that go beyond one-off transactions, focusing on renewals, expansions, and annuities.
