The Senior Surgical Sales Specialist independently plans and executes sales activities in the cardiac surgery field to establish Impella as the standard of care (SoC) and achieve business goals. The specialist also develops strategies to increase case volumes and improve survival rates at key facilities in the assigned territory, and implements them in agreement with the Surgical Sales Manager. The specialist provides information based on clinical evidence from Japan and abroad, and proposes new treatment strategies and care pathways drawing on case experience and expertise. To achieve these goals and establish Impella as the standard of care (SoC), the specialist develops sales strategies and contributes to achieving the goals of the assigned territory, region, and Abiomed as a whole. The specialist develops, implements, and monitors progress on sales strategies tailored to the circumstances of each facility, evaluates those strategies, and continually works to improve their accuracy and reliability and accelerate their execution. In consultation with the Clinical Sales representative for each assigned facility, the Associate Surgical Sales Manager, and the Surgical Sales Manager, the specialist develops and implements specific sales strategies and strategic sales plans to achieve Surgical Sales targets. The specialist also shares and provides guidance to Surgical Sales Specialists on clinical knowledge and experience, product knowledge and experience, and sales and communication skills.
