As a technical support specialist for specially controlled medical devices, you will work with the Sales Department to provide a full range of service operations that ensure the reliable operation of equipment. This includes troubleshooting equipment issues by phone or on site; installing, repairing, and performing maintenance inspections on equipment at hospitals and other locations; coordinating repairs requiring equipment to be sent in; promoting the proper use of equipment; and supporting maintenance contracts. To address equipment issues, you will receive repair requests, prepare estimates, perform repairs, and analyze repair findings, including communicating with manufacturers. You will also handle equipment shipment instructions, delivery, installation, and handover; coordinate repairs requiring equipment to be sent in, including arranging loaner units and communicating with factories; conduct periodic equipment inspections; prepare work and repair reports; enter data into databases; provide technical support to the Sales Department and support customer interactions; create and manage work procedures; and manage loaner equipment and supplies. Nationwide role with domestic transfers required (current locations: Sapporo, Sendai, Tokyo, Yokohama, Nagoya, Osaka, Hiroshima, and Fukuoka).
