As a Senior Principal Solutions Architect, you will provide technical leadership from the presales stage and use a consultative approach to gain a deep understanding of customers’ overall business goals. You will then translate their business requirements into concrete systems and applications for complex technology solutions. You will create and lead the presales opportunity assessment process, develop architecture designs, strategies, and plans, and lead technical customer engagements. You will build and maintain strong customer relationships to identify additional business opportunities within existing accounts. You will lead quality assurance activities on large-scale projects and may manage, coach, and train staff on engagements involving numerous technical personnel. You will have in-depth knowledge of Dell Technologies products, integration capabilities, and related environments, and stay up to date with the latest industry trends. You will lead presentations for executive-level customers.
- Experience designing and building Linux-based GPU clusters - Knowledge of operating systems such as Ubuntu and RHEL - Knowledge of compiling kernels and similar components - Basic knowledge of container applications - Basic knowledge of security - Experience designing and building infrastructure, including three-tier architectures, servers (BIOS and PCI cards), networks (L2/3), storage (block or file storage), and infrastructure management software such as Zabbix, Nagios, and OME (OpenManage Enterprise) - 12–15 years of relevant experience in a professional role - Advanced technical writing skills, including the ability to document processes for customers - Excellent customer communication skills - Advanced understanding of project management concepts and methodologies, and the ability to apply them - Business-level English, including the ability to communicate in business and technical discussions - Domestic travel to support customers
- Ability to keep up with the latest technology trends and continue learning - Bachelor’s degree or higher - Dell Proven Professional certification - Experience designing and building BaseCommandManager, including deploying GPU nodes, reverse-synchronizing images, incorporating drivers into images, and managing firmware for NVIDIA PCI cards - Experience building and managing GPU networks, particularly InfiniBand - Experience designing and building OpenShift environments - Experience designing and building Kubernetes or Slurm environments, including knowledge of the control and worker planes, Network/GPU Operators, JSON/YAML syntax, and RBAC, as well as implementation experience - Experience with HPL, STREAM, NCCL, RCCL, MxP, and similar tools - Red Hat certification (RHCSA/RHCE) or equivalent Red Hat experience - NVIDIA certifications (NCA, NCE, DGX) - Experience with GPU performance tools and NVIDIA UFM
