Deutsche BankImmediate backfill required for the VP role in DSI Local Country Finance, with a target for juniorization (AVP or below). This position is critical for financial accounting, transactional regulatory reporting, capital calculation, planning, and addressing all internal/external regulatory/financial demands. Given our current team capacity, a timely replacement is essential to maintain financial integrity and ensure regulatory compliance. This role is working in DB Japan Group (excluding DWS Japan) Local Financial Control, focusing on local financial accounting and transactional regulatory reporting. Responsibilities initially is on monthly, quarterly and annual transactional reporting and process optimization leveraging AI and other tools to streamline processes collaboratively with team members. In future the role is expected to expand other areas such as annual audit, planning, and other financial accounting.
- Preferred experience includes Japanese financial industry in accounting, operations or middle office. - Japanese CPA or related skills are a plus, but not mandatory. - Candidates with a strong desire to gain accounting and regulatory reporting experience, excellent teamwork, and innovative thinking are welcome, provided they are a cultural fit. - University degree - Native Japanese & Business English - Strong communication & influencing skills - Team-oriented & innovative mindset - Accounting knowledge (preferred) - Securities industry experience (preferred)
