CSG stands for Customer Success Group, whose primary mission is to help customers succeed. From a business strategy perspective, it is Salesforce’s post-sales organization, comprising customer management, consulting, support, and renewals teams. The successful candidate will be a Senior Analyst on the Service Operations team, which supports the leaders of CSG’s Professional Services (Consulting) organization by providing strategic insights from a resource management perspective and driving the organization’s day-to-day operations. The role contributes to business growth through resource management, covering both domestic and international consultants as well as external partners. As a trusted advisor to CSG Services leaders, you will share their vision for business strategy and identify innovative approaches to customer success and organizational growth. You will also be expected to provide objective, data-driven insights into the outcomes delivered by consultants. Success in this role is measured by metrics such as bookings, revenue, margins, and customer satisfaction for CSG Services. Strategic deliverables include developing growth plans based on the Services organization’s workforce composition, creating collaboration plans with external partners, measuring and analyzing organizational performance from both financial and business perspectives, and providing insights. In day-to-day operations, you will work between Services consulting managers and sales representatives to drive optimal staffing for engagements, partner selection, and sourcing of international resources in a logical, efficient, and decisive manner. The successful candidate will work closely not only with colleagues within the organization, but also with the global CSG organization and teams responsible for finance, recruiting, human resources, and organizational strategy. Developing and executing medium- to long-term strategies: Analyze the state of CSG Services and proactively develop and advance strategies and initiatives that support organizational growth from a resource perspective, including staffing and skills. Maximizing resource capacity: Manage internal consultant utilization, promote international collaboration, and expand the partner network to maximize service delivery capacity. Optimizing assignments: Lead resource allocation meetings and work with consulting managers and sales representatives to ensure optimal project staffing, partner selection, and sourcing of international resources. Collaborating globally and across functions: Work with global teams and functions such as finance, human resources, and IT to align with the overall direction and strategy of CSG Japan, while continuously improving organizational operating processes. Defining and visualizing metrics: Define metrics to measure progress against high-level business objectives and KPIs, and track and visualize them using reports and dashboards such as Salesforce. Supporting data-driven decision-making: Regularly analyze and report on business progress and KPIs, supporting timely management decisions with data and objective analysis.
