The Finance Leadership Development Program (FLDP) is a two-and-a-half-year global program focused on developing future leaders in Finance. Participants are placed in positions where they will be challenged and learn core accounting and financial analysis, while developing leadership skills in teamwork, risk-taking, and initiative and demonstrating their core values and adherence to the Johnson & Johnson Credo. Most participants rotate through one 18-month and one 12-month assignment at various companies within Johnson & Johnson. Assignments expose participants to areas of the finance function including Business Unit Finance, Accounting, Tax, Supply Chain, and R&D Finance, and provide opportunities to use leadership skills and bring new perspectives for change and process improvement. Participants receive up to six months of on-the-job onboarding before the program start date, as well as five weeks of in-person training with global program participants at J&J World Headquarters in the US during the program. Training develops written and oral presentation, problem-solving, analytical, and leadership skills. The program offers exposure to complex business environments, financial planning and reporting systems, cross-functional teams, senior management, coaching and mentoring, and opportunities across the business. The program lasts 2.5 years and is followed by a permanent position. The start date is January–March 2027.
