This role is responsible for personally leading AI-Native Delivery (AI-Native Agentic Delivery), led globally by the Global Delivery Center (GDC) and based on the globally standardized Salesforce Professional Services Methodology (SPSM). By transforming Japan’s delivery methods, the role supports customers in achieving business outcomes. AI-Native Delivery represents a shift from the traditional delivery model, in which people build everything manually, to a new model in which AI agents generate technical deliverables—including metadata, configurations, code, tests, and documentation—while people focus on defining intent, validating, approving, and governing the work. The primary mission is to introduce and establish in the Japanese market this model, which the GDC has developed globally, and transform the very nature of delivery in Japan. As a Trusted Guide for customers, the role starts by making business processes visible and clarifying intent, then leads the end-to-end design, development, validation, production deployment, adoption, and enablement of in-house capabilities for Salesforce solutions, including Agentforce, to maximize business outcomes and ROI (return on investment). Building on SPSM, the role leads AI-Native Delivery, established globally by the GDC, on projects for Japanese customers, optimizing it for Japan-specific business contexts and commercial practices while driving the transformation of Japan’s delivery methods. It applies AI-agent automation to key stages of end-to-end AI project delivery, putting into practice “AI generates, humans decide” across requirements analysis, user story creation, decision logging, automated builds and deployments, and observability. The role spans technical domains beyond Agentforce, including Data Cloud, the broader Salesforce platform (Sales, Service, and Marketing), and integrations with external AI services, using a suite of AI tools to achieve both delivery speed and quality. The role leads AI-Native Delivery and SPSM on projects for Japanese customers, promoting adoption in the Japanese market and transforming delivery methods. In requirements analysis, it accelerates the extraction, analysis, and structuring of complex customer requirements, generates user stories and acceptance criteria, and streamlines sprint planning. It documents important architectural decisions and design choices, maintaining a trusted source of information. It streamlines code generation, CI/CD pipelines, and environment setup through agentic workflows, and implements monitoring and tracing to ensure agent performance and reliability and support troubleshooting after deployment. It reviews, validates, and approves metadata, configurations, code, tests, and documentation generated by AI agents, and applies a hybrid approach that balances the flexibility of LLMs with the accuracy of rule-based methods. It demonstrates build outcomes through working software rather than status reports. The role works closely with the global GDC, engages directly with customers to agree on scope, and communicates clear instructions to the GDC without Japan-specific context. Rather than being confined to a particular role, it contributes broadly across all phases of AI-Native Delivery.
- 5–11+ years of practical experience in enterprise systems consulting or leading the implementation lifecycle from requirements definition through design, development, testing, and production deployment. - Deep knowledge of the end-to-end IT implementation lifecycle, from strategy development and intent definition through requirements definition, design, development, testing, and migration. - Experience building solutions using AI and LLMs, or improving practical work efficiency with AI tools. Foundational understanding of both probabilistic reasoning and rule-based approaches. - Logical communication skills, including the ability to clearly articulate intent and build consensus with customers and teams. - Japanese: Fluent, with the ability to reach agreement smoothly with customers. - English: Business level, with the ability to discuss and provide instructions on technical details with GDC members.
- Experience in business analysis and modeling (e.g., UML, BPMN, or DMN). - Experience in customer engagement and consensus building, and in enterprise architecture. - Experience designing APIs and integrations, proposing the adoption of new technologies, and conducting proofs of concept (PoCs). - Development experience on the Salesforce platform (Apex, Flow, or Data Cloud). - Experience developing conversational AI and agents, including Agentforce (prompt engineering, AI orchestration, and agent frameworks). - Experience collaborating in cross-cultural environments and working in English with overseas engineers, such as those at the India GDC. - Salesforce certifications (Administrator, Platform Developer, Application Architect, System Architect, or similar).
- Flexible combination of remote and office work, depending on job responsibilities and team arrangements. - A flextime system without core hours, allowing employees to adapt their work arrangements to childcare, caregiving, and personal circumstances. - Programs supporting life-stage changes, including maternity and parental leave, reduced working hours after returning to work, and nursing and caregiving leave. - Benefits that support physical and mental well-being and sustainable careers, including a wellness allowance and an Employee Assistance Program (EAP). - Networking opportunities, career development support, and a mentorship program.
