The Finance and Accounting Department acts as a "guardian of governance" responsible for financial closing, fundraising, and tax filing, promoting governance enhancement and operational efficiency across domestic and international subsidiaries. This position (Finance and Accounting Department, Global Intelligent Services Division) seeks individuals who will engage in strengthening internal controls at domestic affiliates, quarterly financial closing, accounting system development, and business improvement, driving transformation on a global scale. You will start with the institutional accounting operations at Shiseido Japan Co., Ltd., and in the future, you will have the opportunity to expand your career through job rotation into consolidated financial closing and institutional accounting at HQ (Shiseido Co., Ltd.).
- More than 3 years of practical experience in accounting, tax, and consolidated accounting at a listed company, or equivalent knowledge and experience at an auditing firm or tax office, with expertise in any of the following: accounting systems, accounting practices, or consolidated accounting practices (equivalent to Level 1 of the Japanese Bookkeeping Certification). - Knowledge and ability to identify risks related to business, regulatory, and environmental changes, and to consider countermeasures, along with problem discovery and resolution skills. - Ability to logically construct explanations and lead conclusions while coordinating with stakeholders.
- Proficiency in English at a level sufficient for necessary explanations and discussions in business (or a willingness to actively work towards achieving equivalent English proficiency). - A proactive mindset to drive projects and problem-solving through active communication and teamwork.
