This position seeks an 'Enabler & Builder' who leads the organizational data transformation, rather than a typical data analyst performing advanced analysis in an already established environment. You will lead the cleansing of scattered HR data, establish data governance, and align data definitions to build a reliable 'Global HR Data Infrastructure' end to end.
Experience: 5+ years of practical experience in analytics, data engineering, governance, or BI (experience with HR data is preferred, experience in other corporate areas is also acceptable) Data Skills: Expertise in SQL, Excel, ETL tools, data modeling, and data manipulation techniques BI Tools: Experience in building dashboards and visualizations using Power BI, Tableau, or similar platforms Mindset: Strong sense of accountability and ability to work hands-on and collaboratively on unstructured data issues Soft Skills: High problem-solving ability, attention to detail, and strong communication and coordination skills to engage stakeholders with differing opinions Language Skills: Business level in both Japanese and English Education: Bachelor's degree in analytics, statistics, human resources, information systems, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience)
Experience in using and operating SuccessFactors or equivalent major HCM platforms (HR systems) Understanding of end-to-end HR metrics, KPIs, and HR processes, including payroll and evaluation systems Experience in integrating data across multiple HR systems and data linkage between platforms. Practical experience in data/BI consulting firms, SIers, or data analytics organizations within business companies
Ownership: You can lead how data drives business, from cleansing and standardizing data to generating insights, rather than just being a support role that creates requested reports. 0→1 Strategic Impact: You will gain a rare experience of shaping a global HR data infrastructure from scratch. Basic data analysis can be handled by AI (like Copilot), allowing you to focus on high-value architect tasks that only humans can do, such as 'designing data structures' and 'building governance'. Influence in a position close to management: You will have a high-profile position that directly interacts with senior HR leaders and GMs of various departments to align global data strategies. The infrastructure you build will directly reflect in the company's organizational strategy and talent investment decisions. An environment that supports diversity and growth: A multinational team (7 members) with diverse backgrounds from global consulting and major manufacturing companies. Average overtime is about 10 hours per month, and flexible working styles such as hybrid work combining remote and office are possible. Participation in overseas HR Tech conferences and active support for catching up with the latest trends are also provided.
