Johnson & Johnson was founded in 1886 with the innovative idea that doctors and nurses should use sterilized sutures and surgical dressings for wound treatment. Since then, we have created new products and solutions throughout the ages to help people lead healthy and happy lives. Among these, Johnson & Johnson's medical device division has continuously delivered medical devices and materials used in medical settings, particularly in surgeries. Johnson & Johnson Medical Company, which is responsible for the medical device division in Japan, provides advanced medical devices and related products utilizing cutting-edge technology for a wide range of medical fields, including surgery, orthopedics, cardiovascular diseases, and cerebrovascular diseases. In addition to providing products, we believe it is important to communicate their safe and proper use to healthcare professionals, and we are committed to offering educational services tailored to the diverse needs of various medical specialties. Johnson & Johnson MedTech aims to shape the future of healthcare in Japan and contribute to quality improvement by providing innovative products and solutions that meet the medical needs of an aging society, as a trusted partner to healthcare professionals such as doctors, nurses, and technicians, so that patients can regain their health and lead happy lives. The Surgery Division aims to bring innovation to wound management and minimally invasive surgery, striving for safe and secure surgical procedures. The Surgery Division offers a rich lineup of products, including suturing products, wound management products, and highly operable endoscopic surgical products, leading the world in the development of surgical products. We are also focused on promoting the proper use of products, reducing the risk of postoperative infections, and popularizing suturing methods that minimize the visibility of wounds. Our wish is not only to ensure the safe implementation of surgeries that place less burden on patients' bodies but also to improve the quality of life (QOL) of patients post-surgery. The job involves proposing a wide range of products used in surgeries, primarily focusing on sutures, skin adhesives, hernia repair meshes, continuous suction waste systems, absorbable adhesion prevention materials, and various local hemostatic agents to various medical specialties. You will be required to engage in sales activities that contribute to the advancement of techniques by proposing minimally invasive surgical-related products, automatic suturing devices for laparoscopic surgeries, automatic anastomosis devices, ultrasonic scalpels, and more. You are expected to provide information to promote the safe and proper use of our products and to create an environment where high-quality surgical procedures can be performed in collaboration with healthcare professionals. It is essential to capture the needs of healthcare professionals and create value through product proposals. Managing a designated territory/hospitals and maximizing sales of our products within the area is part of the job.
