Serves as the property Manager on Duty and directs all property operations during the overnight shift. Ensures that the highest levels of hospitality and service are provided during the overnight shift. Represents property management in resolving any guest or property related situation. Personally assisting in resolving any issues and completing tasks. Monitors and ensures compliance with all Guidelines to Operations, ensures supervisors maintain adequate levels of department supplies, ensures employees are in proper uniform and properly groomed, ensures employees are working in a safe environment, manages period-end inventories, directs, monitors, and assists overnight staff, and ensures guest tracking scores and employee opinion survey goals are achieved. Reviews financial statements, sales and activity reports, and other performance data to measure productivity and goal achievement and determine areas needing cost reduction and program improvement. Assists in responding to and resolving guest issues, supports accounts receivable activities, monitors chargebacks and rebates, administers plans to minimize them, ensures proper cash handling, manages employee hours, and works with the property leadership team to prevent recurring guest issues. Promotes participation in safety-related programs, monitors attendance, promotes teamwork and morale, ensures employees are trained and informed about procedures and resources, ensures knowledge of emergency procedures and communication across teams, provides new employee orientation, supports supervisors' development, encourages employee relations, creates service and profit incentives, assists with weekly payroll, solicits employee feedback, administers policies and disciplinary procedures fairly and consistently, supports the Peer Review Process, and conducts annual performance appraisals with direct reports.
- Business-level Japanese fluency. - High school diploma or GED and 5 years of experience in guest services, front desk, housekeeping, or a related professional area; or a 2-year degree from an accredited university in Hotel and Restaurant Management, Hospitality, Business Administration, or a related major and 3 years of experience in guest services, front desk, housekeeping, or a related professional area.
