This position serves as a strategic hub connecting customers in Japan with the Global Delivery Center (GDC) in India, supporting business transformation through Salesforce. The primary mission goes beyond simply interpreting language: you will partner with senior architects in Japan, develop a technical understanding of project content and processes, and work with GDC members to deliver a broad range of services, including strategy and transformation design, project execution support, and governance and optimization. By combining Japan-specific business context with the GDC’s world-class technical capabilities, the global-standard Salesforce Professional Service Methodology (SPSM), and available AI tools, you will serve as a technical and cultural facilitator who maximizes customer ROI (return on investment). You will work closely with senior architects in Japan, accurately understand the intent behind project tasks and processes, and support execution by communicating that intent to the GDC clearly and efficiently. In ongoing collaboration with senior architects in Japan, you will develop a deep understanding of project background, individual support tasks, business processes, and the definition of expected deliverables. You will gain a technical understanding of both the deliverables and the processes used to create them, then provide detailed instructions and reviews in English to ensure that GDC-produced outputs meet Japanese customer quality standards. You will translate Japanese customer requests, which may be expressed in Japanese or in abstract terms, into concrete technical specifications that the GDC can implement accurately, using diagrams, demos, and logical English. You will make effective use of AI tools to prepare instructions, summarize documents, and conduct initial reviews of deliverables, reducing the workload of architects in Japan and accelerating the overall project. You will convert Japan-specific business practices and the intent implied between the lines into clear logic that the GDC can understand, preventing misunderstandings within multinational teams. Under the leadership of architects in Japan, you will work with the GDC to support the definition and execution of business process reform, organizational transformation, and transformation of system domains (IT landscapes). You will support requirements-definition facilitation, coordinate the creation and review of detailed designs, manage development and testing quality, and support the execution of data migration strategies. You will operate design-quality assessment processes and approval workflows, and collaborate with the GDC on health checks of existing environments.
