This position supports projects to implement state-of-the-art medical devices and automation systems in hospitals, from planning through launch, within BD’s Medication Management Solutions (MMS) business unit. You will be responsible for implementation projects involving medical devices for hospitals, automation systems, and clinical IT solutions. Working closely with the Sales and Marketing teams, you will manage and drive multiple projects in parallel while serving as a key link between departments in Japan and project teams at the German headquarters. You will support project success by tracking progress, preparing reports, and coordinating various activities to keep projects on schedule. Responsibilities include monitoring project progress; coordinating project schedules; communicating and coordinating with internal and external stakeholders; managing and updating project documentation; supporting projects to ensure they meet schedule, budget, and quality standards; coordinating inventory management and ordering plans with internal teams; managing and handling internal approval processes; preparing quotations and arranging orders; and arranging drawings and preparing them as needed.
- Experience in project support or project management in a fast-paced environment where multiple projects are underway simultaneously - Business-level Japanese and English proficiency, and experience working in a global environment, including online meetings and email correspondence with teams in Europe and Asia - Experience in at least one of the following areas: project management or project coordination - Experience working on implementation projects involving medical devices or equipment - Experience in sales support, operations support, or customer service - Experience in engineering or technical support - Experience in supply chain-related work, such as inventory management, ordering plans, or logistics management - Experience driving work forward in collaboration with multiple departments and overseas teams
