Shiseido Parlour was founded in 1902 (Meiji 35) in a corner of the Shiseido dispensing pharmacy in Ginza, Tokyo, serving soda water and ice cream, which was still rare at the time. In 1928 (Showa 3), it introduced full-scale Western cuisine and began manufacturing and selling Western-style confectionery. Since then, we have brought a variety of Western cultures to people through food. In every era, we have remained committed to authenticity, high quality, and deliciousness, valuing both tradition and new ideas ahead of their time. As a member of the Shiseido Group, we contribute to creating a beautiful lifestyle culture through food. Responsibilities include manufacturing core products such as sablés and biscuits, maintaining production capacity and contributing to profitability as an in-house factory, and managing employee safety as a Safety Manager in accordance with laws and company regulations. Based on sales plans provided by the Sales Department, you will develop production and shipping plans, plan staffing and manage labor, ensure appropriate staffing and employee development, procure and order materials and ingredients, and lead manufacturing and packaging operations. You will help provide safe, reliable products from our in-house factory. A distinctive feature of this position is that the company has approximately 500 employees, enabling quick decision-making and giving each person considerable autonomy. You can also be involved in sales in the food category.
