Your Day to Day involves responding promptly and professionally to overnight guest requests. You will deliver amenities, towels, pillows, water, luggage, guest supplies, and other requested items to guest rooms. Supporting in-room dining delivery and tray collection is also part of your responsibilities. You will deliver VIP amenities, special requests, and personalized guest items, and assist with luggage and guest-service requests when required. Coordination with Front Office, Housekeeping, and Food & Beverage is essential. You will monitor and maintain guest-service areas, pantries, and hotel equipment, replenish guest and operational supplies, and report maintenance issues, safety concerns, and lost property promptly. Maintaining accurate overnight service records and handover information is crucial, as is protecting guest privacy and confidential information. You will provide discreet, polished, and personalized service in accordance with luxury-hotel standards and support emergency and overnight operational procedures when required. Additionally, you will perform other duties reasonably assigned by the Night Manager, Duty Manager, or Housekeeping Assistant Manager.
- Previous experience in hospitality, hotel operations, guest services, housekeeping, Food & Beverage or a related customer-service role. - Previous luxury hotel experience is preferred. - Excellent customer-service attitude and professional appearance. - Strong communication and interpersonal skills. - Ability to remain calm and professional during unexpected situations. - Ability to work independently during overnight hours. - Good physical stamina and ability to walk/stand for extended periods. - Basic computer skills. - Willingness to work nights, weekends and public holidays. - Japanese communication skills.
