As a member of the DSA (Clinical Trial Drug Shipment Coordination) team, we are seeking a highly motivated individual to ensure that all customer orders are processed accurately, promptly, and appropriately. You will have the opportunity and responsibility to take on interesting challenges by listening to customers and collaborating with team members. While understanding the importance of following established procedures, you will also proactively take new approaches to tackling interesting challenges and supporting the team. Responsibilities include processing shipment and delivery orders for clinical trial drugs in accordance with the clinical trial plan and without deviating from prescribed procedures; preparing picking lists and shipping documents that meet country-specific requirements; entering and managing inventory and shipment data in the system; communicating closely with customers and the team during problems or emergencies, resolving issues, and taking the necessary actions to meet customer needs; maintaining high-quality operations in accordance with cGMP (Good Manufacturing Practice); and understanding the processing capacity of the entire team and providing support to team members as needed to help the team achieve its daily work targets. The role is primarily desk-based, but may require checking on-site areas, such as the warehouse and shipping area, as needed. Customer communication regarding clinical trial drug shipment coordination may sometimes take place by phone, so telephone support is required as part of the job. You will begin with a general orientation, then acquire the necessary knowledge through our proprietary online training curriculum while learning practical tasks through several months of on-the-job training. Senior colleagues and other team members will support you with any questions, and you will have opportunities to continually build the knowledge required for the role by attending internal and external training according to your interests.
