Citi Japan is hiring a Hospitality Operations Assistant Manager to help run its Global Hospitality Services function in Japan, one of Citi's most active and fast-growing markets. This role coordinates day-to-day hospitality operations across client center services, reception, event catering, colleague dining, and vending, working closely with the Operations Manager to keep service quality consistent across every touchpoint. Advanced Japanese and business-level English are both required for this role. Coordinate daily hospitality operations across client center services, reception, event catering, colleague dining, and vending to keep service delivery consistent across all locations. Manage third-party vendor relationships by tracking performance, resolving issues quickly, and confirming contractual commitments are met. Support the Operations Manager by acting as a hospitality subject matter expert and contributing to people management and project initiatives. Identify service gaps and coordinate corrective actions so delivery stays aligned with Citi's global standards. Track operational budgets, flag cost efficiencies, and produce statistical reports that support governance and risk oversight. Apply compliance guidelines, handle sensitive information with discretion, and support controls that reduce operational and reputational risk. Share hospitality product knowledge with suppliers and internal stakeholders to keep service outcomes well informed across the Japan market.

- A Food Safety Management certification, such as HACCP, showing commitment to service safety and operational rigor. - A certification in managerial leadership or process improvement, such as PMP or Lean Six Sigma. - Experience operating within a large, matrixed global organization, particularly in financial services or a similarly fast-paced corporate setting.
- A hybrid working arrangement with 3 days in the office and 2 days working remotely. - Direct exposure to senior global leadership and strategic hospitality initiatives across Citi's international network. - Structured learning and professional development programs to support career growth within operations and beyond. - Wellbeing support and work-life balance resources to help you perform at your best.
