Do you have experience in service operations, logistics, warehousing, or inventory management? If so, this position may be a great fit for you. As our RMA Coordinator, you will handle all RMA (Return Merchandise Authorization) cases. You will also coordinate the delivery of new products and the exchange of related documentation by working with Tesla Certified Installers. You will serve as the link between the Service team and certified installers. You will carefully manage all requests for replacement products and help ensure that field technicians receive the products they need when they need them. Based in our Tokyo office, you will also support project planning, day-to-day service operations, inventory management, and small-volume purchasing. Your responsibilities will include managing the receipt and dispatch of service replacement products and parts at the product distribution center; inventory management; analyzing product and parts demand trends to identify fast- and slow-moving items and optimize inventory; processing inbound and outbound shipments at the Tokyo Service Center; handling RMA cases; coordinating demand planning with the factory; arranging parts delivery and shipping; handling MRB (Material Review Board) cases; communicating directly with customers and negotiating replacement costs as needed; supporting certified installers with product orders and returns; contributing to continuous improvement initiatives for Service Center operations; supporting the promotion of Kanban systems and 5S; and actively participating in project and weekly planning, progress tracking, and reporting.
- Practical experience in service operations, logistics, or a distribution center - Ability to read and complete material transfer documents - English proficiency (reading and writing) required - Native-level Japanese - Integrity, a strong sense of responsibility, a commitment to quality, and a proactive approach - Ability to maintain a safe workplace
