The Marketing Manager, Endourology owns portfolio strategy and launch execution for the Endourology franchise in Japan. The immediate mandate is launch excellence: bringing a rich stone management pipeline to market over the coming years, starting with a flagship next-generation product where the goal is full conversion of the existing user base and significant share capture. Beyond individual launches, the role owns the multi-year portfolio roadmap, market development for new procedure categories, and value communication reflecting Japan's reimbursement environment. Equally important, this role carries an explicit mandate to raise the capability of the overall marketing function — codifying launch practices, mentoring colleagues, and setting the standard for strategic marketing across the team. The position works closely with sales leadership, key opinion leaders, market access, and global marketing, and operates with high executive visibility. Responsibilities include owning the Endourology marketing plan and multi-year launch roadmap; defining positioning, segmentation, targeting, and pricing input for each new product introduction; leading end-to-end launch execution for the lead pipeline product; designing and driving account-level conversion programs to migrate the existing user base to next-generation products and capture competitive share; building market development programs for new procedure categories and technologies; establishing relationships with leading urologists and endourologists and developing podium, conference, and peer-to-peer education strategies; translating clinical evidence into differentiated messaging; developing selling tools, training programs, objection-handling guides, and case support materials; partnering with sales leadership on target account strategy and launch sequencing; mapping reimbursement pathways and developing value messaging; representing Japan market requirements and competitive dynamics to global marketing; shaping global launch plans, localizing assets, and providing forecast input; codifying launch playbooks and strategic marketing practices; and mentoring and developing marketing colleagues. Success in the first 12 months means the lead pipeline product is launched or launch-ready with conversion strategy in active execution and measurable adoption in priority accounts; the multi-year portfolio roadmap is endorsed; a launch playbook is in use across the marketing team; a credible KOL network is established; and colleagues recognize the role as the strategic reference point for the Endourology portfolio.
The Application SW team sits within Application Engineering in Product & Delivery. We build the application-layer software that connects Wayve’s AI capabilities to real vehicle behaviour, working at the intersection of AI, ADAS and real vehicle systems. You’ll have the chance to help shape a new feature engineering capability in Japan. As an ADAS Feature Engineer, you’ll develop C++ feature logic, validation tools and system behaviours that let AI-native driving technology operate robustly in real vehicles. You’ll work with ML, product, systems and vehicle teams to turn model outputs and vehicle data into reliable, testable and customer-relevant ADAS features. It’s a hands-on role close to the car: you’ll debug and tune features using logs, simulation, replay and vehicle testing, and validate ADAS and active safety behaviours in practical driving scenarios. You’ll design, implement and maintain C++ application software for ADAS and active-safety-related vehicle features; build feature-level logic on top of AI / ML outputs, including validation, feasibility checks, state machines, fallback behaviours and safety-aware decision logic; work with ML engineers to understand model outputs, limitations and failure modes, and how these translate into vehicle behaviour; use logs, simulation, replay and vehicle testing to debug, tune and validate feature behaviour; define and improve metrics, test cases and validation strategies for ADAS feature performance, robustness and quality; collaborate with product, systems, vehicle integration and OEM-facing teams to turn requirements and real-world constraints into engineering solutions; support field testing and iterative development, including investigating vehicle issues, edge cases and performance gaps; and contribute to software architecture, code quality, tooling and engineering practices for feature development.
As part of our People team, you will help build and run the operational backbone that lets our people do their best work. Across the full employee lifecycle — from onboarding through to offboarding — you'll keep day-to-day People operations running smoothly and accurately, covering areas such as onboarding, working hours, social and labour insurance, employee documentation and compliance, working closely with the wider team and our external partners. The most exciting part of this role is that you'll help shape our People foundations in Japan from an early stage. Rather than simply operating a finished machine, you'll be working in an environment with plenty of white space — where the way you work directly improves how our processes and systems evolve. There's real room here to make things better, and it's largely yours to shape. In a fast-growing scale-up, we're looking for someone who enjoys more than just completing set tasks — someone who spots "this could work better" and turns it into reality. Partnering with employees, managers and external providers across a broad range of areas, you'll naturally develop a wide, cross-functional view of People operations in Japan. You’ll work on onboarding, including preparing offers and employment contracts, collecting required documents, Day 1 setup, and probation management; offboarding, including supporting leaver processing and final pay, issuing separation and withholding certificates, equipment return and access removal; HRIS administration, including maintaining employee data, managing leave balances, producing reports, and monitoring PTO uptake; working hours, including reconciling and operating attendance records, supporting monitoring of the 36-Agreement, and checking submissions and approvals; social and labour insurance, including enrolments and withdrawals on hire and leave, employment insurance, standard and revised remuneration filings, and the annual labour insurance update handled with external providers, plus maternity, childcare and injury/sickness benefits; payroll and tax, including monthly coordination with the external provider and payroll team, commuting and other allowances, resident tax updates, and supporting the year-end adjustment; benefits and health, including liaising with benefits vendors, coordinating health checks and stress checks, arranging occupational physician meetings, and setting up and following through on worksite visits; letters and certificates, including employment contracts and terms notices, employment and salary certificates, and similar documentation; and compliance, including maintaining the employee roster and wage ledger, tracking residence status, managing fixed-term renewals, and supporting audit preparation.
Connect global supply chains to support better healthcare outcomes. From managing international transportation to ensuring trade compliance, this role helps keep critical healthcare products moving efficiently across borders. As the Supervisor, International Transportation & Global Trade Management, you will work closely with teams across Japan and globally to support the reliable movement of products, drive operational improvements, and help maintain a resilient supply chain in a complex healthcare environment. Reporting to the Supply Chain Manager, this role plays a critical part in ensuring the uninterrupted supply and timely delivery of BD and Medicon products to customers across Japan. You will lead day-to-day import and export operations while partnering with Demand Planning, Warehousing, Logistics providers, and regional stakeholders to drive operational efficiency, transportation optimisation, and continuous improvement initiatives. This is a highly collaborative role with visibility across multiple functions and international teams, offering the opportunity to influence key decisions that support BD's purpose of advancing healthcare outcomes.
