As the owner of a territory assigned by area, you will develop sales plans and make proposals to new customers, as well as drive upselling and cross-selling to existing customers, primarily serving small and medium-sized businesses and venture companies in and around Tokyo. Your primary contacts will be business leaders, such as executives and company officers, allowing you to engage in highly consultative sales activities. Working in coordination with the Marketing, Inside Sales, and Channel Sales teams, as well as partners, you will drive new customer acquisition and deepen relationships with existing customers in your territory. In addition to solving customers’ challenges, you will act as a Trusted Advisor, proposing the future they aspire to achieve and the state they should strive for. Because you provide services rather than products, you will not need to spend time shipping or delivering products and can focus on proposals that contribute to customer success. Most of the people you will make proposals to in this department are at the CEO level, enabling you to develop proposal skills directly connected to business management. Since you will be presenting to decision-makers, the period from the start of a sales opportunity to contract signing is short, giving you many opportunities to close deals. Future career paths include advancement to Mid Market and General Business.
- At least three years of corporate sales experience, regardless of whether the offering is tangible or intangible, or in IT or non-IT. - Sales experience with individual sales targets, including the ability to identify opportunities, set priorities, and establish and execute sales processes to achieve those targets. - Experience in new customer acquisition, with a customer-first mindset, a strong commitment to meeting targets, and the ability to take an active approach. - A desire for self-development, flexibility to embrace change, and an openness to adopting new approaches rather than clinging to conventional methods.
- Experience making proposals focused on solving customer challenges. - Knowledge of enterprise applications centered on BPM, such as CRM, ERP, BI, SCM, and PLM. - Active use of new technologies and platforms, such as smartphones, tablets, business applications, and social media.
- Joining Salesforce gives you limitless possibilities in every aspect of your life. - We support you through benefits and resources so you can find balance and be your best self. - AI agents help you increase your impact and do your best work.
