This position is a leadership role responsible for business strategy planning and execution for large municipal accounts (Tokyo, Osaka, and local municipalities) and government-affiliated financial institutions within the public sector. The role involves promoting digital transformation using AI, cloud, and data platforms to contribute to solving important issues in Japanese society. In this role, you will lead not only business growth but also organizational development, talent cultivation, and building executive relationships with customers. You will also participate in the overall strategy formulation of the organization as a member of the Public Sector Leadership Team. Responsibilities include business leadership, customer and industry leadership, people leadership, and executive leadership. You will be responsible for formulating and executing business strategies in municipalities and government finance, achieving business goals including revenue, consumption, and Copilot/AI business, building medium- to long-term market development strategies and pipelines, and expanding business using the partner ecosystem. You will build relationships with executives such as mayors, vice governors, deputy mayors, CIOs, digital officers, and government-affiliated financial institutions, promote customer transformation using AI Transformation, Government Cloud, Data Platform, and Cyber Security, and propose solutions to industry challenges using Customer IQ and Industry AI Solutions. You will manage the organization including Account Executives, Specialists, and Technical Specialists, develop the next generation of leaders, enhance organizational capabilities, promote an inclusive culture, achieve high employee engagement, and strengthen collaboration with cross-functional teams. As a member of the Public Sector Leadership Team, you will participate in organizational strategy planning, promote business growth and transformation programs across the public sector, and communicate Microsoft's public sector strategy in the AI era both internally and externally.
